it was some def. much needed girl time.

We surprised our other friend Ali Saturday before the game.

which was like years and years and years ago.

we don't always agree

she is literally the first person to call me out!!

but she is my SOUL SISTER

and I mean that!!

Lou Lou secretly got in Friday night though.

so we had dinner with the brother and then hit up the liquor store

(for the first time that weekend.. 2 more trips to come)

we bought this below in the BIGGGG 50 something ounce bottle 

and some rosia for Lou

this is what I blame my downfall on all weekend.

well that, shots, vodka and beer 

oh lord.

but it was seriously the best weekend I've had in awhile! 

not to mention Friday we spent a total of 40 bucks at Drakes

and total of 14.00 Saturday at harveys!

that's winning in my book any day of the week!!

::** 11 things in 2011 **::

2011 was quite a YEAR..

Let me just tell you!

Things changed for the good and for the bad.

Somethings I didn't expect.

But the good news is that I am happier than ever.

SOOO here we go...

1. I got a year under my belt with my job.

there were times I was so frustrated, worried and stress.

but the good news is I got a year finished.

and only 3 more till I am done.

Got to stay positive.

2. I bought my FIRST car.

technically, I did this at the end of last year but it just really hit me the responsibility of it all.

making sure the work is done on it.

and that it is taken care.

I absolutely love it though!

Not the best on gas (hopefully that price will go down in 2012)

3. I gave up the rental house I was renting and moved to an apartment.

It was a downgrade. a major downgrade. not how nice it is but the room.

my closet is now shoved into a little half walkin.

it's pretty rough. but other than that I love it.

I moved to a nicer area and I feel safer.

4. I loved and I lost.

as you all should know from the blog.

I thought I had the met one but after breaking up,

being knocked down, and trying to find my way I am now better

than EVER. I am happy and thankful for how things worked out.

5. I started this BLOG!

I never thought I would get so much feedback.

or people saying now they want to blog.

or I gave them strenght to make decisions in your life.

it's awesome and I never want to stop.

6. I've made some great memories with my friends!

It's amazing to me no matter how much time passes

where we all live

what we all go through.

our friendship never ends!

7. We made Ft. Myers/Naples area our new family spot.

For as long as I can remember we have went to Destin.

This year dad sold that condo and I sadly let it go.

We now have a condo in Ft. Myers and we took our first family trip there.

he is now looking at Naples and I'm excited to see what the future holds in that department.

8. I dyed my hair back natural

DARK.

now I'm carefree without worrying about roots.

I'm getting used to it.

9. Kelsey May is still doing good.

sweet and adorable

cuddled up like always.

I am so thankful for her.

she's such good company

10. I've become addicted to music.

I have to have something playing all the time.

whether I'm in the shower, car or working out.

You should try it.

11. I am going out on New Year's Eve

First time in....Lexington.

can you believe that?

I've always been to house parties or with a boy who had to work.

this year should get interesting.

most of the time.. about nothing..

# I confess... that I HATE the cold.
Not just a little bit, but a whole lot.
I think I would forgive it a little bit if it wouldn't spit white stuff all over my window EVERY MORNING!!!
( I have left a guy for less than that...)

I agree.. I will clean this up..

# I confess... The other reason I hate the COLD is
 because fashion is so much harder!!
I wish I could find outfits like these..
But I need to buy Christmas gifts instead..

# I confess... This weekend I am refraining from doing much.
Tonight I plan on going to dinner with some girls and then relaxing at home
a night filled with laundry and DVR!
Tomorrow I am going to a Christmas Party and then out!
Which should be interesting!

Sunday I am cooking with Alison for our Sunday tradition.
(tradition of four of us getting together, cooking, laying around, football)
But I usually do not cook.
I usually try to JUST lay around and watch football.
But not this time.

I will still be CHEERING for my team!!

**Thankful Thanksgiving **

So, friends..

I know. You probably thought I didn't make it through this Thanksgiving..

But I did! (Thank goodness)

So here a couple of MAIN entertaining things:

ONE:

The home computer is officially DEAD.

I took it to my step dad who can usually bring any computer back to life but he called Wednesday night with the horrible news, that it has officially bit the dust. (RIP Dell) 

The hard drive went completely out on it. 

So yesterday he ordered me another one is going to replace it as soon as the part comes in. 

Too bad I lost ALL my music, photos and documents. WOW!

TWO:

Life has been CRAZY.. getting ready to leave town was a struggle.

Between packing for me, the dog, and finishing up at work I was a crazy person.

I got it all done and left on time Wednesday with my numbers completed for the month!

I headed to Henderson (which is where my dad lives) to spend the first couple of days with them.

Wednesday the CATS! #BBN were playing so my girls came up and we all watched the game!!

It was SOO GOOD! to see them! We had a blast!!

Yes. By this time, I had 3 Bloody Marys and thought this was hilarious!

We were playing around the house and running errands
while Micah and my step mom were productive.
Now you now I why I am a daddy's girl! 

THREE: 

Before leaving Lex. I thought it would be wise to get my oil changed.

(even though I was ONLY over about 500 miles to get it done) oops.

I then received some unfaithful and untrue advice from the local place that my brakes were going out and I needed new tires. 

I immediately thought two things: 1. I don't want auto repairs for Christmas and 2. how am I going to afford presents for everyone else? 

Of course, I did what any girls does, I called my dad! 

He told me we would get it looked at when I got home for the holidays (sounded great to me)

Once getting home, I found out my brakes were fine but my tires did need attention.

After getting over the initial YOU LIED to an innocent girl tantrum.. I went around and got a few tire quotes.

That is about as far as I have gotten with that situation. 

More to come hopefully about that situation.. 

FOUR:

The last couple of weekends...

 well more than a couple, because I hear that only means (2) I have been going out.. ALOT..

I call it livin' life.. 

my friend,  WHIT , calls it "single ready to mingle" 

Speaking of Whit,

She has been my MAIN wing man for the last couple of weeks..

Birthday Bash 2011

So as everyone knows, I decided to celebrate my birthday over the 8th of October.

Opening weekend of Keeneland. Weather was perfect.

I was beyond excited.

Friday all my Western KY girls were coming in.

My LEX girls were figuring out last touches to their outfits.

My brother was premixing some of the Breakfast.

I had some unexpected personal drama during the day and was so READY to let loose!

Friday the girls started running a little late.

So I ran some last minute errands and FINALLY found my outfit.

Tanned. Saw an old friend.

Then came home to wait for them to arrive!!

Just the sound of them banging up the stairs made me beyond excited!

They were finally here and I could finally let it all out.

Please don't think I don't have AMAZING friends in LEX because I do.

Katie, Becca, Ashton, Susanna and Thurman are SO good to me.

They drag me out of the house, wipe my tears, listen to me bitch, make me laugh,

deal with my shopping habits and always include me!!

I would NEVER trade any of them!

But my Western KY girls KNOW me, the REAL me.

Inside & Out

The type of friends that you don't have to say how you feel because they already know.

And between work, my Nana, and stupid drama I was at a breaking point.

I am SOO glad they got to come up here!

SATURDAY

The Itinerary went like this:

9:15 Get up

11:00 AM Breakfast

12:00 Leave for Keeneland

4:30 Leave Keeneland to come home and change

6:00 Dinner reservation on Sal's Patio

Then down to Drakes and OUT!

(Keep in mind that was the planned itinerary):

9:45 We all Finally Got up

11:20 Arrived at Micah's

11:25 First Mimosa

12:30 Left for Keeneland

5:00 Left Keeneland

6:10 Arrive at Sal's

So YEAH, of course we were running a little BEHIND.

But you have to LOVE  that.

That is just how we are!

Breakfast was awesome!

The brother made breakfast casserole, fruit, and whole wheat toast.

Of course with mimosas!

Keeneland was great. It was beautiful.

The club house tickets were amazing and I was so thankful!

After seeing General Admission I would have been miserable!

I won $6.55 on a race!

But didn't even break even!

We actually arrived to dinner before I thought we would..

It helps just having to change and freshen up.

I made the reservation for 12 people and we actually ran out of chairs.

I felt bad everyone couldn't sit with us.

But the group there made my birthday!

Dinner was one of my favorite times during the day!!

We headed to Drakes.

Where we had a good time but decided to migrate downtown.

Tin Roof is always my favorite.

So we stopped there, had some shots and dances!!

I  met up with an old good friend, which is always nice!

We then rode the TROLLEY (which I am sad we didn't take photos)

Got off and walked to Wildcat Saloon.

I had a GREAT time!
